Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario - Ontario's Promise

Ontario’s Promise brings corporations, organizations, foundations, and non-profit agencies together to help children, parents, and community leaders keep five promises to the province’s young people.

The vision at Ontario’s Promise is to support Ontario’s children and youth by providing leadership, supporting the province’s tradition of volunteer spirit and community service, and mobilizing the various sectors to promote a shared responsibility — “Pulling Together for Ontario’s Kids”.

There are five promises at the core of Ontario’s Promise. Each promise focuses on the fundamental elements that are essential to the successful development of children and youth.

A healthy start
An adult who cares
Safe places to learn and grow
The tools to succeed
A chance to make a difference

When the five simple and clear promises are met in a young person’s developing years, there is no limit to their potential later in life. The Ontario Government, Corporations, Organizations, and Agencies of Promise, as well as a dedicated Board of Councillors and their Ambassadors, encourage all Ontarians to share their enthusiasm and expertise with Ontario’s Promise. Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario has been an Agency of Promise since its inception, and in 2002, we have benefited from our association through excellent fund-raising, branding, and management seminars put on by Ontario’s Promise, and through the brokering of opportunities to meet with potential sponsors.
